Purpose
To minister to men who are lost, in despair, and unwanted by showing love, encouragement, and compassion.
Vision
To form disciples who are born again in Christ so that they are strong enough to go out into the world to serve God and to spread the good news to His lost children.

Marshall LaCross
Marshall LaCross is a Senior Resident at "A Place of Hope". He is finishing his residency with us and will be helping the ministry further it's commitment to make disciples of God's Lost people.
Monday Night Bible Study - 1 Samuel 21
Meeting Date:
Time: 7:00 pm
We will cover 1 Samuel 21. This study will discuss the Daniel at the young age of 20 being on the run from King Saul who had issued a decree to half the country to kill David.
Wednesday Night - Church and Twelve Step for Christians
Date: January 5, 2010
Church topic: Daniel chapter 12
We meet at the POH house for dinner around 6:00 pm and go to Calvary Chapel for their midweek bible study.
After Service we meet back at the house for a 12 step program geared toward Christians
Friday Night Bible Study - "Romans"
Meeting Date: January 8, 2010
Dinner is usually at 6:00 pm with bible study following shortly afterward.
We are currently in the book of Romans. Please try to read ahead so everyone is in step with the study

Volunteers
We are always in need of volunteers to help out at A Place of Hope. We are in GREAT need of the following:
1. Night Supervisor
The night supervisor shift starts at 7:00 pm until you have to leave for work the next morning. Just a great time to fellowship with our residents and relax.
2. Transportation
Our residents are always in the need of transportation to work, finding work, doctors appointments and general errands

Our ministry provides a facility for men that have lost hope through Alcoholism, Drug addiction or homelessness. We are not a rehab facility, but a long term program that provides a loving and compassionate Christian based home for our guests to regain their dignity and self worth through Christ.
